About Us


Charlene Watson RMT, BA

Charlene Is a registered massage therapist and the proud owner of Active Wellness Massage Therapy & Chiropractic Clinic.  She developed a natural approach to health care by relying on it as a gymnast in adolescence and sport injuries as an adult.  Knowing that she wanted to help people directly and was fascinated by human anatomy, massage therapy was the perfect career choice. As a massage therapist she has become competent treating acute injuries and has a passion for working with athletes.
" The purpose of my work is effective treatment, educating my patients about self-care, and maintaining optimal health of their body."

Charlene has been a massage therapist for the following:

  • 2011 Canadian Men's Curling Championship-The Brier.
  • 2010 Canadian Figure Skating Championship.
  • 2007 World Synchronized Figure Skating Championship.
  • 2006 Canadian Women's Curling Championship- Scott Tournament of Hearts.
  • 2006 LPGA Canadian Women's Open.
  • 2001 Canada Summer Games.

She graduated in 2002 from D'Arcy Lane Massage Therapy School and has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2002.  She graduated with honours in 2000 from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts in Community Health.


Kelly J. Ould RMT, BFA

Kelly graduated in 1995 from the Sutherland & Chan Massage School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto. Since moving to London in 1996, she has worked in multidisciplinary clinics providing care for sports injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, and musculoskeletal complaints related to stress and life in general. In addition to practicing massage, she has also been an educator in the massage therapy program at Lambton College since 2002. She is an approved tutor for the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and also has been on a number of company rosters to perform insurer examinations. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Art degree from the University of Windsor. “I am pleased to be a member of the Active Wellness team and look forward to collaborating with my clients to meet their health care needs.”


Alison Murray RMT

Alison Murray graduated from The Darcy Lane Institute and has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2007. She has been a valued member of the Active Wellness team since December of 2008. Alison is currently completing her final year at the University of Western Ontario and will graduate in 2013 with a major in Health Sciences and a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences. Alison stays active in athletics with her favorite sport, volleyball, which she enjoys both on court and the beach.


Nicole MacMullin RMT

Nicole MacMullin brings a vibrant, attentive and compassionate approach to the Active Wellness team. Since graduating from Westervelt College in 2010, Nicole has been helping people reach their health objectives through massage therapy, and loves the experience she gains in her work. Nicole's values of overall health are demonstrated in her lifestyle as they are in her career; she embraces the opportunities of happiness, thus enjoys getting out and having fun with friends and family on a regular basis. Nicole loves to keep active by participating on sports teams, as she finds it is a healthy way to network and be social. Yoga is one of her favourite pasttimes, and she always encourages her clients to keep an open mind and incorporate it into their lives. "I love my job and always look forward to the next person who walks through the door. I help them feel welcome and safe, and do everything I can to provide the most beneficial experience for them so that we both feel great when they leave."


Kristi-Lynn Hutchison RMT

Kristi-Lynn has been a practicing R.M.T. for four years. She graduated from D'Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy in 2008. She has a passion for therapeutic and athletic massage and has been spending her career working in multi-disciplinary clinics alongside other healthcare professionals such as chiropractors, sports therapists, and fellow R.M.Ts. Kristi-Lynn comes to us excited to work everyday with clients of all ages and ailments.


Diana Hunt Reception

Diana has been our receptionist since December 2010. She will take care of scheduling your appointments, process your direct billing or payment and answer any questions you may have about our clinic. She brings a kind and caring personality with her everyday to work and welcomes you to Active Wellness!


Dr. Michelle Campbell B.Sc,CEP,DC

Dr. Michelle Campbell is the owner of Campbell Chiropractic Care and is a part of our Active Wellness team. Dr. Michelle Campbell has been a practicing Chiropractor since 2008. Dr. Campbell achieved her Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in 2004 and earned her certification as an Exercise Physiologist from the University of Waterloo in 2004. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2008. She is passionate about inspiring and motivating people to achieve their optimal health and wellness!  Dr. Michelle is educated in many different techniques and will take the time to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible.  Dr. Michelle has additional certifications in the care of pregnant women and children, as well as athletes.
